Bruno, 3 and 4 are my favourites.
Phil, very nice portrait.
Joe, excellent results with the 240. Do you think there is an improvement over the M9 regarding color shifts? I have the feeling the M9 cyan/magenta shift is just replaced by a red shift on the right side. You should definitely try the Planar. It is an amzing lens.
Ron, 2, 5 and 6 are my favourites. The Tele-Tessar has a very special rendering despite it's small maximum aperture. I should use it more often.
Ron, thanks for the info on the clippings. You already have a lot of M240 know how, all you need now is the camera The 737s could be from the Continental fleet. Even the Continental terminals have not changed at both Boston Logan and IAH Houston. Another excellent set, #2 and 6 are my favorites.
Thanks Edward. No idea on the color shift but apparently, the corner resolution has improved with the new micro lenses. Ill shoot some white walls and test it out later.
With the M240, I'm itchy for lenses again. Besides the ZM50P and the CV 21/1.8, I'm also looking at the 180 Telyt f/4 and the 60Macro-R lenses. Tilt shift could also be interesting.

Yikes with the ZM21 Biogon on M240. 1st shot uncoded, 2nd shot with 21 Elmarit pre-ASPH and 3rd with 21 Elmarit ASPH in camera profile. Metered with my Sekonic on a white wall, so I did not adjust exposure in LR4.
Speculation? Microlenses improves resolution but does not deal with color cast? Anyone want to loan me their 21SEM for a comparitive test
Phil, nice portrait. Interesting flare in the second one. It reminded me of something I saw in a few of my shots with the 28 Cron. Here's an example:
Joe, not sure what to suggest... maybe Leica is still working on firmware? Does it look bad in actual use? It didn't seem that obvious in your airport image.
Great set Robert, difficult to give up that 18, eh?
Nice one Allen!
Nice shot!, great light. Never seen that flare with the 28 cron. Did u use the hood?
Yesterday made it even harder to decide what lenses I gonna keep or sell.
I really like using the 18 and can't see myself walking around the same with the 17 TSE and a big canon body attached to it.
Would love the 17 TSE, and it would be very useful for some of those jobs. But it can't replace the 18 SE.
Beside that I planned to sell the 28 or 35 because both are really close together.
However yesterday I used both together (normally I only pick one) and they feel so different.
I love the 28's output and little vignetting. And the wide angle makes it really nice to use.
The 35 seems a little dull in comparing, but is such an easy lens to use.
So I keep the kit as it is for now No funds to add a 17 TSE, but I don't wanna cut into the leica's for that.
Nice work Dexter!
Phil, I like the treatment above.
Joe, nice images! I think if you're typically getting slight purplish color shift along the right edge, you might be able to minimize it for some images by pulling the purple hue slider to the left to shift the purple closer to blue. This will however affect other similar hues in the image, such as some blue skies, but I find it can be an effective quick fix.
As for the detail crop: seems like color moire mostly, though the second floor windows above the minivan are definitely off. My feeling from the few M files I've played with so far is the M tolerates more sharpening than the M9, so it might help to push the files a bit more. As well, for this type of scene, it might be beneficial to try f/11 or thereabouts where some diffraction might minimize the false details. With stronger conversion sharpening, you should still be able to pull off a good file.
Phil, Ron, even Leica's flare looks beautiful. . My 35cron v1 has much uglier flare, but I have found that put a black ring IR filter improve it a lot. The silver lens always give me problem at backlit.

i've seen countless M240 photos and the thing is that the red/magenta cast is in ALL of them (the entire image, not just sides/corners), IMO (OOC JPEGs are even worse)...not a knock against your skills, of course.
i wish Leica hired the engineers from Olympus to do their firmware. IMO, Olympus does the best sensor firmware...i mean, just look at the Kodak-sourced 4/3rds images...and the Panasonic vs Olympus m4/3rds with THE SAME Panasonic sensor is night/day difference!
