All I have from the past week is some stuff I shot for clients. So heres a couple of things from an event from one of my university clients I shot yesterday.
I shot everything on this wall display and there are three others kinda like it within the university. These photos on the display are all in color.
Congrats Dexter! I'm sure you'll love it.
Andrew, very cool. Adding GAS to the fire?
A few from a recent trip to Toronto, all with 21 SEM. Last two are cropped a bit, probably closer to 28mm field of view. Also a bit indecisive about which I like better...
Michael, I love your previous set with the M3, especially the hand and the bird!
Ryan, love the fisheye shots. The subject seems to work really well in these, as does the contrast.
Dean - great find and lovely images!
Allen - I also do some work for a university and these types of photos look very familiar to me. I'm curious if you deliver them B&W versions? I would guess it's all in color? (Referring to the meeting photos)

Thanks Ron and I absolutely love the first and the last ones in your last series.
I shoot mostly color. I shoot their bi annual magazine which won a gold medal in a very prestigious national competition last year. Almost all the stuff on their website. All their ads and its mostly color. I also shot their annual report last year (one of several annual reports I shoot every year) I shot some stuff from the event in B&W and we are talking about shooting an all B&W magazine in the future. I do some B&W for some of the other annual reports so its great having the MM for that.
Andrew - great use of the Nocti! I hadn't thought of that before but it seems well suited for that environment. I especially like the first shot of the 300SL.
Ron - I agree with Allen, that last shot is wonderful.
Allen, nice set from the event
Andrew, great set from the car show.
Ron, I think the balance between the two women is better in the second b&w.
Ryan, first one is another good fish-eye photo.

The fisheye isn't for everyone, but I love the effect. The funny thing is I can't stand regular fisheyes, it's circular or bust for me.

The last one: if it is digital, I can save the 'Man in dark in right side', but not film
we may want to move this to a more film oriented thread, but hey mine was shot with a Leica too lol
on film you can just expose for the shadows and use a compensating developer like rodinal, esp. at 1:100 doing stand development where the rodinal will exhaust itself on the brighter areas but keep developing in the shadow areas.
basically, like this:
excuse my crude drawing, please.
anyway the difference in EV between the bit being hit by direct sunlight and the bit in shadows was really, really extreme. please note that this is how it scans in on my scanner, which is quite flat. typically I do not do stand development like this because I hate shadow detail. I would rather just get my highlights where I want them and let the shadows block up completely. just personal preference.
