deang001 and Hilmar, thank very much Appreciate the comments!!
deang, nice shots! The 50 Lux on the M8, makes for a great portrait setup
Hilmar, finding people to model in Thailand is not difficult, as most do enjoy their photos being taken. I think once you have taken some shots, and they like what they see, all their friends start requesting also. The 50 Nocti f/1.0, is really well calibrated with my M9's, even with the focus shift. When I focus and recompose, I do have to be quiet, very still, particularly at f/1.0, as there is no room for movement. I am now finding that I have about 97% at the point and intent of focus, and with the re calibrated frame lines, there is virtually no cropping either. I never had this with the 5DII with the 50L
Excellent shots Charles, Hilmar and Ron.. I am many many many pages behind on this thread; sorry I am unable to comment on other's work yet. Incessant work travel has kept me away from photography. 12 countries in the last three months, and back to Asia soon.. I'll hopefully catch up with Charles somewhere in the region, if I keep up the pace .. Oh, I did acquire a new Summilux 35 ASPH.. Unbelievably good lens!
Less talk, a few photos.. from my travels to Europe, Asia and Alaska..
Najibs, neat set with the X1
Ajay, thank you Congrats on the 35 Lux . Yes, we should run into each other at some point. The colours in your shots are stunning, and the ones from Italy are like paintings
Bruno, very nice portrait series with R-D1, particularly the first shot
Hilmar, great lighting! I really like the last shot. Great lens combo the 50 Nocti 0.95/24 Lux
Shots from last night in almost darkness with the 50 Nocti f/1.0, at ISO 2500 and 640 at f/1.0
