Hi,

Sorry if this is a dumb question but are the filters 3"x3"? I have an Omega C-700 I am setting up and am looking for a filter set. Also is there any recommendation on which one is "better". Thank you for your help.

The filters are mounted into a plastic frame that measures 2 1/2" square, with a small pull tab that has the filter strength labeled on it. The filters slide into a filter adapter that fits onto the lens itself, so the filter is between the lens and the paper, not between the lens and the light source.

I don't think one filter set is better than the other. But, I would recommend, just in case there is a difference, that you use the Kodak filters when using Kodak paper and the Ilford filters when using Ilford paper. If you use another brand of paper, either might work.
