It's a really nice lens. Once you start using it, the cost of the lens is somehow justified and the blow is softened

Sorry, I don't condone the pixel peeping of my shots, that usually ends up in arguments...you'll just have to trust me on this one.

Yes, Sir! Though, it's kind of taken a back seat since I just received this 24/1.4

Everyone has their reasons for or against this lens and it's definitely not a lens for everyone. I for one see the benefits and value of it for shooting weddings

Phillip
The lens I would keep would be a 35mm 1.4 AF
the 24 for the type of photography that I like would not help me at all
I do mostly candid shots inside bars and cafes in spain and for that the 35mm1.4AF
would be just perfect.
I am now using the 58mm 1.2 but it is not AF and not easy to focus
the regular 50mm1.4 works fine also
Today I took the 24mm back to B&H so at least they have one now....!

Ahhh man, 24mm would be great for candids, especially indoors. I have a feeling you're going to really miss that lens

I too will be getting the 35/1.4 if and when it's released.....then I think maybe the sigma 85/1.4....... And then......it's never ending...sigh
