I'd like to find an excellent copy of this lens for my D300. Prefer it with all the goodies but will consider all. New are $665 at photo4less so I'm looking for less than that.

Uh, geniousc - you might want to check your sources. I received this statement in an email from photo4less today:
"Dear Al,
Thank you for contacting Photo 4 less.
We are pleased to inform you that all of our Sigma lenses are USA warranted with a 1 Year manufactures warranty."
He does go on to say they are not a Sigma authorized dealer, so buyers do not get the additional 3 years of warranty.
