I've been waiting for this one (your best one) Simon, and I'm certainly not disappointed. In fact I'm extremely jealous. This place is in my "back yard" and you've out-done me
The light is fabulous and the long exposure creates an attractive softness in the water and the clouds.
Now, if you'd be kind enough to stay on your side of Hadrians Wall in future, I'd be grateful ..................... only kidding!!
David
Absolutely wonderful! I used to have a calender of Scottish landscape panos, yours beats them all. The light on the mountains is fantastic and I love what the ND has done with the clouds.
Wonderful image, Simon! Love the effects from your ss on the loch and the sky. The warm highlights on the mountains are delicious.....fantastic range of light and shade. Very nicely done!
Methinks you'll be going back sometime soon.

Thanks Barry,
i would, but David has impounded my passport to stop me entering his country
Stunning landscape. We used to live in Scotland until 1980 and I sometimes go back, but usually to Edinburgh/Glasgow area by air so haven't been back to the highlands for years - really miss them!

WOW, nice work to set up this shot as you did. Interesting use of filters, and software, you are an artist of your trade. Nice job, being at the right place at the right time. Great vision, have I left anything out, if I did please include it Rick
Woah! Way awesome. I kept looking and not sure if the comp is completely balanced but really great light and well processed. I havent tried any panos w/ the 10stop yet but am itching to try. I was worried that the stitching would never work out. Looks like I might be wrong
thank you all,
Aaron, thanks for the comment.
it is quite hard, not to get the tree centalised with the mountains off set.
either way, left or right, theres not a lot happening with the mountains. not only that with the 10stoper on, i was relying on memory for the #`s on my ball head base.
blending took several attempts. CS4 took three goes, then i gave up as it never did the job i was looking for. once in APP, job done!
