well,
what a journey of photographic highs on my short four days in fabulous Scotland.
many wonderful images to grace my hard drive, only seeing the light of day to share with you fair people.
but, this is my best image of the week, taken on our first morning at the Loch.
it comprises of three horizontal 30 second exps using the Hoya 10stop filter at aprox 50mm @F11 iso 100.
after a few tweaks in C1v5, exported to autopano pro. several adjustment layers later and 1.3GB in size i present my 60" front room print! http://www.sussexlandscapephotography.co.uk/malt%20teeasr-1.jpg
The sliver of warm light is amazing, and I really like the impact of the ND filter. The pano format is great, but I think you also have a special more traditional crop in there too!
It is a stunning picture Simon. I was listening to "hallelujah" by John Cale.. the one that is sung in Shrek. He was singing hallelujah just as I clicked on your post. It just seemed to be a perfect piece of music to go along with viewing the photo.

Your front room must look awesome with something like this presented there. Once again... amazing photograph
+1 everyone else. This is just a gorgeous picture. I love the way the light hits the mountains. Great job on taking the photo and also on the post processing, which I'm sure was no easy task in and of itself.
