p.1 #1 · 7D Sports Video

Hey guys, just thought I'd share this with you. I put together a quick video from our basketball game last night using a 7D and 5DmkII. Obviously there are better tools for the job, but I just wanted to see what would happen. I definitely got much better and more comfortable using it as the game progressed (and you can see the results as I started using shallower depth of field).

Anyways, just thought you folks might wanna see it! Here it is!

Also, I stuck a few stills up here if you're into C&Cing sports stuff.

Enjoy!

Nice work. What lens did you use primarily. I am guessing the 24-70, which I have found the easiest to use for this kind of thing with my 5d2 and now 1d4. The wide angle helps with the large DOF for focus accuracy.

Thanks folks. Lenses most used were the 35L and later (as I got more comfortable) the 50 1.8. The wide stuff was with a 16-35L on a 5D2.
