Since we are all looking forward for Spring, I thought we could see what we are waiting for.
All shot with Nikon D300 with 105mm/2.8 or 180mm/1.8.

Ken,

There is some very nice lighting on all of these. Yellows (for me) are always a tougher exposure without blowing out the highlights while getting the details as shown here with the Yellow Day Lily.

The Cones is my favorite of these three. Nice composition and DOF with a wonderful background to set them off.

I am also a daylilly fan, I have roughly 100 varieties of lillies in my gardens. Nice shots, I think I like your comp in the first one the best, but the others are nice as well. - Paul

Awesome series love the color saturation of these, nicely balanced and all 3 flow very good with each other. Please share more

The bottom two were taken with a Nikon micro (Macro) 105mm, while the top one was with a 180mm non-macro.
