p.1 #1 · Traded: 1dsmkII for your 1dmkIII

very very clean 1dsmkII ~40K shots, all associated material including 3 canon batteries (only marks are very slight in a bottom corner. Takes wonderful pictures, but I am hoping for some fps and don't want a 7D. Want a very clean 1dmkIII, with either the updates or high enough serial number so I don't have to worry about it. I can supply pictures.

I assume I owe you a bit of cash too to make the deal 'right'.

PM or email please

I think the 1Ds II (FF) should sell for close to the same price as a 1D III (not FF).
I could be wrong, I'm looking at buying one of the two, I'm not sure which I want yet.
Is there anything other than FPS your 1Ds you want for an upgrade on the new body?

yes, I want a center AF point that is faster at acquisition than the one on my 5D for extremely terrible lighting conditions.

Please forgive me for hijacking to ask;
Where did you hear there was a big AF upgrade on the III ? I will admit there is some advertizing that the III has some new AF methods, but the end results I heard were little or no diff in the user forums when I asked last week.

I'm interested to know before I buy a 1Ds II, My 1D II N AF is spot on in all lighting. I assumed the 1Ds II was the same. I have heard that on reviews.

Are you sure you don’t just need to use a f/2.8 lens to engage the high precision AF points you need?

I'm convinced some cameras have less good center AF sensors; I had a 5D that couldn't always focus right without very good light, for example.

Please respond.
