Looks like a painting, halfway between real and surreal, going towards salvation, or perhaps doom. I like the colors and brooding atmo.

Those are just beautiful Klaus! If I were to pick only one I'd pick #2 but both are pleasing to the eye and rather soothing to look at. Very well done.

I can't pick between them. Great exposures for the cloud filtered sunlight, and superb simple comps.

2 for me too. Love it. More drama and more interesting light with the torn up clouds.I also find the position of the log in 1 a little bit static.
