p.1 #1 · Bought: Dynalite 500-ws Pack

Looking for a Dynalite 500-ws pack with the two-stop variator. The 1000-ws pack with 1-stop variator that I have now just doesn't go down as low as I'd like. I guess this means I'm looking for an M500DR or later, but then again it's hard to keep track of their naming conventions.

Please let me know what you've got and your price including fees and shipping to Boulder.

Thanks,
Greg

Would also consider trading my M1000ER (the above-mentioned 1000-ws pack) for a 500-ws Dyna pack with a two-stop variator. Or maybe you just like money.

If you're gonna pay retail, you might as well buy a M1000WI or an MP1000. Almost the same price, size, and just 1lb more.

I've already got a 1000-ws pack (with one-stop variator) and a 2000-ws pack (with two-stop variator). For some of the things I'm shooting, I need to go lower than what either pack can do. That's why I'm looking for a 500-ws pack with the two-stop variator.

A new one (the 500 Road-somethingorother) is about $600, so I definitely don't want Adorama's $900 one. [Edit: Not it's not. It's $900. All the more reason to look for the older 500wi.]

Actually, I would even suck it up and just get the new one, but it looks like they've switched from household to phono for their sync sockets--and even though I use PWs 99% of the time, I don't feel like having two sets of sync stuff for that other 1%. Hence my search for a 500wi or 500DR if there's such a thing.

Still on the hunt for an M500DR or M500wi.
