Does that mean she gets the 1D since your hawking her cam.
I have the 20D also, but never thought of swapping out of the 1D. Why would you?

It is also a nice upgrade, despite the smaller file size and the fact the 1D is rather long in the tooth now. I owned the 20D when I picked up a 1D four years ago. Although the 1D proved too heavy for my arthritic shoulder, it was so much better than the 20D that the only way I could satisfy myself after selling the 1D was to buy a 5D which I still own and may never sell. The 20D, a nice camera, is long gone.

Good luck finding someone with a 1D who would find the 20D attractive, especially with so many 40Ds floating around at the moment.

Try your local craigslist. im in south FL and once a month someone posts their 1D classic but wants $500 for it... So I bought the 20D from B&H for $330 instead... Never thought about going (what I believed to be backwards) but its a 1D so it truly is an upgrade.

I miss my 1D original, its files were so good right out of the box, my 1dMKII is nice i have to say, but I still miss the 1d, i don't miss the battery life though it was crap.
