Looking for suggestions for a backdrop/muslin stand. Would need to be portable. I'm trying to expand my work into some location shots and I'm not sure what I really need here. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've found the FJ Westcott ones to be of good value and decent quality. Very portable as well. You may or may not like the air cushioning though.

Yes, to hold a WL1600 & large octabox on a boom arm. They're big & heavy stands.

I got this one. $70 from ebay. With free shipping. Works perfect and comes with a bag. Not sure why you'd need to spend more.

it supposed to be all metal, and very sturdy.
They have bigger ones too.
