thanks! but where do you see a tilt-effect? The DOF is real. A nice feature of the ZE 21 is the ability to focus very close (with a nice bokeh btw) which creates a very low DOF. Here's another example of this effect:

Hm, yes obviously. The scenery confused me (no points of reference) and I though the focus was some few meters away making the dof displayed in that photo impossible by natural means.
I'm guessing the camera is flat on the ground.
^Why the cropped view? Proof of sharpness, or showing some lens aberration? Or some concern that your particular copy of the 35mm f/1.4 ZE may not be performing well?
