Went for a relatively compact setup for a street walk a couple of weeks ago, blowing the cobwebs off my old D90 (rather than a gripped D700) and using the 2/35 Distagon. It was stinking hot and Ramadan, so no food or drink in public, so I wanted to be carrying as little as possible.
The old girl still did OK, until a passer by hit my arm as I was bringing the camera up to shoot and the camera flew out of my hand. 2.5m later, the fall was broken by the 2/35, but luckily all is still working well.
Here are a few D90 + 2/35 combo shots from the day:
Z,Picture this, Ronny, Phil - Thank you!
Darbo - Great shot / result with the pano shot. I feel the 'being there' with this shot.
Ronny - Amazing macro works !
Phil - Great shots with D90/35. I really like the shot from the shoe store.
Z- I just looove the way how you frame your shots. Great bokeh frame on this one !
Krosavcheg - I am witih Z, love the shot, Samyang14 has been on my 'itch' list, but also not zeiss. Well, not the end of the world or anything. Did I say I love that shot ? Osaka ?
Ronny - beautiful color on that one. With 50MP, you must have been really close to the bug.
Jochen- Great shot, composition. Love the texture too.
