Diploneis: The mono lake shot are stunning. I can't keep away looking the detail at left bottom corner.
Akul: This is one of your best shot. Do you run script to resize and do multiple sharp step?
Thanks Zhangyue. yes I run PS script for multiple step sharpening based on the mix of Samuli, Luka (Denoir ), Martin ( Makten) version. Change to lab color, select lightness channel and sharpen. I usually keep the dialogue box to open so I can tweak it. This one, feels slightly over sharpened. I might redo it. ( Now I said it, I could not take it any longer. I swapped the file with slightly less sharpened version )
JSPHOTO - Beautiful works.
Lieutenant - Brilliant set. #2, #3, and of course #4. V shaped oof framing shoot right into the mask. Great shot !
Martynas - Beautiful B/W version. Only thing is that I no longer can see the glowing soft light without color. Stunningly beautiful shot from Mono lake. Gorgeous shot.
Martynas, very nice ice formation : I prefer B&W vs colour.
Akul : lake shot is nice but your buildings B&W is just fantastic, perfect composition!
Jim : love the silho-uette (I confirm you that the 35 is a quite fine lens... )
Gregg : great series.
I await with baited breath the arrival of my 50/2 MP, and 35/2, both in .2 versions for my D700. As well I have rented a 100/2 MP and that will arrive on Friday (whew, talk about lens buying addiction). I'm eager to put up some pictures here, hoping to approximate in small steps the exceptional photography you all accomplish with your talent and these lenses. Now.... let's see......... 21/2.8 or 18/3.5

You have a nice talent tony and a great eye.
Looking forward to seeing your images with new Zeiss lenses!
And please don't forget us in Nikon manual lens thread
thank you, sir, for your compliment, although as you know, its impossible to take a bad picture in Paris, especially beautiful women Also, I've decided to keep my Nikkor MF lenses to share with my son, Mark, who lives not far from me and to use to compare with my new Zeiss lenses, so I'll be able to join you there as well.

Hi Luka, I didn't notice any over sharp on your original one, I don't mind slightly over sharped pic even it is there, but this new one looks more neutral and a little more peaceful
Your ZF 21 building shot are very nice, did you ever think crop the left upside out?
Greg: another nice set.
Frezeiss: very nice PP
what extraordinary detail , as well as the way in which the colors both blend and differentiate themselves one from the other. Also, the picture of the guy scoping out the woman was indeed striking. Your use of bokeh makes that picture far more dramatic than the one I took in Paris. It's clear I have so much to learn, and it's fun in the process. (Toward that end, I took delivery today of my 35/2 ZF.2. Oh my gosh!!! I'll also be getting in a bit my 50/2 MP later today. I cannot believe the build quality and the color rendition out of my D700 is mind-blowing. I'll post up here when I've got some that are worth of this thread).
Tony,
You have nice first round of picks of zeiss lens, ie 35f2 mp50, mp100. You will be very impressed coming from nikkor as these three are famous for zeiss color and pop. once you enter zeiss world, you may want more speed and different rendering and focal length, thus 25f2 351.4 and p50,p85...it will be never ending
Lz: nice series with great frame and color.
