frezeiss -- I'm not trying to sound negative, but those two shots are radically over-exposed, and I can't see any benefit from that, or special effect you might be exploring. The washed-out look makes it seem like the camera malfunctioned, but I know it didn't. Perhaps you could explain your intent in posting these?

Great forest shot Luka! Love the greens and focus... Very Moody..
Frezeis Lovely shots! You can darken them a bit - will improve I think.
Cyra - cool trees. I like the last one especially.
Lars - that slight fog/mist makes it very moody! Excellent composition with a spot on those yellow flowers. 35 F1.4 seems to be very lovely lens.. My wife will divorce me though, if I buy it...)
Thanks for the feedback, I use Lightroom with 62 1.0 radius sharpening and medium screen sharpen after resizing. It seems this is too much, perhaps I'll tone it down a pinch.
As for the olive trees shot, I'm leaning towards the 100 MP. Perhaps the tall yellow grass and light shadows oposed to the 50 MP makes it easier.
Gunzorro,
These pictures were edited in Lightroom and while I didn't PP with a calibrated monitor, the histogram doesnt show highlight clipping.
Diplonesis,
Thanks..Does that mean you're seeing the over exposure problem also?
By the way, your pano is very sweet and your PP in general.

frezeiss: not that I am an expert in sharpeing, far from it, but I know it is better to keep the radius down - try 0,3 to 0,7 max and rather increase the amount up to in the hundreds, or even full amount. I use low screen sharpening, but my images need to be a bit more sharpened up. There is a sharpening protocol for Fotoshop bei Samuli, adapted by denoir and Carsten and other people, Carsten has just linked his again in the Zeiss discussion thread, if you are interested. I am also still working on this, it takes time and experience.
Lars, the yellows in your 2 images are exceptional! I like your pp and especially your black point works well IMO. Also like your frame, are you using a template to add in photoshop?
Your berry shots with the 35/1.4 are also really awsome, makes me consider to get that lens as well sometime...
Jim, that shot is simply wonderful!
akul, I like your tree shots, I often shoot similar stuff, though not as good
dbehrens, lovely colours, water and rocks form a nice contrast
thanks everybody for comments and praize for my tress shots. I have many more
Sven, cyra, smridevan, Lars, Martynas - Thank you so much !
frezeiss - Beautiful images. I like the #1 especially. On my monitor it does not appear overexposed, but what it is making it unusual is the oof bright spot behind the seaweed covered rocks. The way how it is rendered makes me think it is partly the characteristics of the lens. I feel I get similar look with 35. It has this saturated day dream sort of effect. Sharpening might have played a role a bit, but I am not sure. If it bothers you, easy fix may be to use the 'recover' function in Raw converter, but use conservatively as it can get weird when overly used. Also in a high contrast situation like this, polarizer seems to help tame the specular light. ( I am still learning the best use for it, and to me it is not always desirable )
Cyra - Gorgeous shots from Greece. Beautiful olive trees !! #3, #4, I don't know what those trees are, but they are just gorgeous trees. I don't think I shoot trees any better than you. Your shots are beautiful.
Lars - Beatufiul shots with 35 1.4. Great capture of atomospher with the wonderful bokeh and myst on the first shot. Very pretty.
thanks Carsten, Lars, Martynas, frezeiss, akul for praize and comments (all trees are olive trees, #3 and 4 in the last series where just young olive trees.
