Lovely set, Akul! 3, 4, 6 & 7 are my faves. Interesting how 6 feels so much colder (to me at least) than the others. This one would be wall-hanging stuff, except for this cold...:-)
Thanks Philber. It is true the I was more miserable shooting #6 compare to other shots. Glad (?) it came through the shots.
Just one more.
Cropped ( feels defeated ) and bad crappy postcard shot with grunge ( dirty snow). What was in teresting to me was that snow this time was so wet and sticky, that it clung on to Trinity Church, giving a little different look.
RubenFreitas, Makten, outstanding work as usual. Lovely shots.
I really wanted to know whether or not I can trust wide open aperture on 50 Planar, so I shot some plants at close range for testing. What do you guys think?
mshi - thank you for your comment
50 1.4 wide open + close range, definitely shows a strong character and spilt crowd it seems. To me, some bokeh dance are a bit too strong for my taste, like branch on #2, #3, but then #1 is totally nice. With less happening in the background. Also, #5, with its still presents busy character, it works for me. Nice saturated colored background with flower imerges, I like it.
RubenFreitas - Very nice sets. #1 #4 from first set, #2 #4 from second set are my favorite. #1's focus plane is very effective. Love the #4 with the color.
Makten - superb shots. #3 is my favorite. Circles and rectangles on orange, pure composition, beautiful.

I am sorry, but I know exactly where your foto's were taken in Istanbul. I am a hughe fan of this city. Pierre Loti too? Wish I was there so we could take the best pics. Hopefully this year.
Rob, i guess you're talking to me, yes it's Pierre Loti, when you come we can make a photo trip in the city together.
BTW, Hugo, I like the way you "sign" your photos, you say everything and yet it looks so unobtrusive to me. Just one question - the titles. I find it very hard to come up with titles for photographs, easier to keep them without. I am sure you have problems with those very often, considering the amount of photos you publish. What do you do, when you just can't come up with anything?

When you don't have a title, it becomes 'untitled'. I've exhibited several images this way. I find it's better than forcing the issue!
Very good point!
