Fantastic shots everyone. I come here to learn and appreciate lens characteristics of Zeiss glass, but I get lost in the amazing pictures and forget why I was here in the first place

Love those waterfall pictures Martynas!
Great shots Sami, Martin and Luka. There seems to be a quite strong Scandinavian(okay, Fennoscandian) presence here on the Alt board.
And congrats on the new lens Jack, sure looks sweet.
CFA over the pixel quad (GrRGbB) does not change at the edges of the array. We do test bare die sensors without any lenses and see this color shift time to time, and the effect seems to be exaggerated when the light source is not perpendicular to the focal plane array. As you know the final image is reconstructed from the four (two green, red and blue) color channels, and at the edges of the array, when this color shift occurs, one or two channels seem to be "more responsive" to light rays, and this could vary from edge to edge. When all the channels are uniformly gained up and "mixed" to reconstruct the scene, there seems to be a color cast and it need not be the same cast at the edges. Of course, I oversimplified the explanation here, but there is a lot which goes on the raw pixel data even before a RAW file is generated.
However, this effect is usually accounted for using a color correction matrix, and should be very well abstracted from the end user. I wonder if certain lens/sensor combination brings out this effect. This is a common problem with cell phone sensors, small pixels, crappy plastic lenses and diffraction around f/4 makes it worse.

Thanks for the info Ajay!
Do you perhaps know why the color shift is asymmetric (red on one side, cyan on the other). I thought at first it had to do with the CFA arrangement, but since the standard seems to be GRGB in a square arrangement, I can't really see the reason for the antisymmetry.
Thank you all for your comments. Joakim, I agree, the glare of water was quite strong. In pp, I took some out, but did not want to go too far. Cropping is usually not my cup of tea, but square composition might work pretty ok. Thanks for your input.
Diploneis - Really lovely portrait in B/W. Also, stunning waterfall shots. Great pictures.
allstarimaging- Congraturations on your 100 MP. I also got 100 MP recently and I feel like a kid in a candy store.
Makten - I like you focused on the grass on the 'landscape' shot.
Denoir - Great duck shots! All your lenses are totally blessed. Second shot is great with one female staring at us, through you. Second set is beautiful. I really like the second shot, although, I also like the first and third
Sami- Very nice set. First one is my favorite. Very nice color.
Philber - Yeay. Those are beautiful shots. To my eyes, you used the lighting to work for you, not against. Third one, is stunning.
RZetter - Beautiful. The second shot is very strong. Half cut boat holding a door. Sort of surreal. I enjoy looking at all the details, texture of wood, ground, broom, reflection on the door ....
Great shots as usual guys!
Makten, that photo by the water: I thought it was a shot of Luka when scrolling down
Is it the exact same location? Do you guys know eachother in real life?
Diploneis, your winter work is just spectacular, especially B&W!
Hugo: spectacular landscapes as always, + I've hardly seen anyone needing a coffee as much as that barista!
rji2goleez: great variety in your work! I really like the cemetery pics.
