It's the simple household plug style with a clear dome light sensitive recepter. No batteries! Unfortunately, I do not know the brand. But, it works and should continue to do so for a long time. I don't see how you could beat it for $5.00!

When I sell things, I either delete the item from the post if there are multiple items or delete the whole post if it was the only item and sold.
