Rather than our monthly "show off" posts, I thought this would be a good time to do a best of 2009 thread. The rules are the same: Show your best work from the month... No lurkers allowed... post em up!! Oh, and although it's preferred, it doesn't have to be wedding related...
Only two rules:
1. Has to have been taken in 2009
2. Only one picture per person!!!!!!!!!!
We all know that consistency and overall quality is a great thing to strive for, but there's just nothing like taking that one shot that can take you to a different level, get you new business, or just make your client say 'WOW'! No matter what level we're at, we all have the shots which we know have been great for us. So let's see them. I'll start out with mine...
Right now this is my favorite of the year, but there were so many I loved. I really appreciate the work I see getting put up here week after week. Looking forward to a creative 2010 from all of you!
The lighting conditions were so extreme- there was a 4-stop difference between the shadow and the light areas because of the bursts of light that were coming through the stain glass windows. My regret on this is that I didn't have my aperture wide enough to get him in detail.
I think that this is definitely one of my favorites. I took this while seconding w/ Jason Tran. We were setting up for the first look and caught the groom anticipating quietly under natural light..
