I'm thinking of purchasing a new camera and wanted to look really good. I'm even going to splurge for the nice-looking disposable wedding cameras with the fayncee decorations on the front (white with silver leafing...I'm sure you guys have seen them at CVS). If I go the duct tape route, do you think the silver duct tape would look best? I second the above. With this much leadtime, and especially if the camera doesn't HAVE to work I'd have someone slightly mechanically inclined drill a hole in the camera large enough for a 1/4 20 nut to fit in... epoxy that in and instant tripod socket that looks "pro" of course you will have compromised the light seal but I'm assuming this is really a prank and no actual photos will need to be taken with the camera.
