For a little time the sun came out this morning so I finally picked up my 400 2.8 and gave a try as the birds started to feed. Many came but my flicker did not show. Good look at why they call it a red Belly in the one. (9 photos)

great shot showing off the red belly of the Red-belly.
Great set & I'm happy you got nice enough weather to be able to shoot a little.
Lil
Thanks Lil but not anymore as it now looks and feels like snow. But it is December and would you believe I still have two red roses on a bush along side a fence.I should have taken a photo and made the title a red rose for a red belly

Very nice Lou. My fav are 1, 5, 7 and 8. I see some 'artifacts' in 4, 5, 6 and 8 w/ your PP .
Dan
Thanks Dan and I would imagine you probably see them due to my poor BG work as I have some eye trouble and when I do any cloning I do mess up so thanks for telling me and if you would could you point out a few of what you see as I do like #7 a lot and want to print him.

I really like that first Jay image Lou. I have not been able to capture one of these skittish birds as of yet. Nice series.
Really RKnecht, I have them waiting for me in the morning. I think they are getting used to the feeding time but it is not every day as I am sure they have other places that they feed at also. Thanks

Very nice set, Lou. Very nice colors and poses. Lovely smooth bg. 1, 7 and 9 are my favorites.

P.S. There is some visible cloning job in a couple of these, Lou, you need to clean up if you are planning on printing them.

Thanks Socrate and yes it has been mentioned about seeing this. I can't see it my self (eyes are going bad, Mac. Degeneration) cloning is tough for me. Would you mind pulling one off and marking it and email it back to me ( [email protected] ) Mainly #7 as that is the one I like best. BTW my show on Sat went pretty good and also two of my canvas prints went. Both Owls.

Hi Lou I just sent you an e-mail with your # 7. The spots are indicated with red arrows. That image in particular wasn't all that bad compared to others.
Happy to hear about your success on the last show, Lou. Good luck on next one.
Let me know if you need some more images highlighted

Socrate I thank you very much as I received your email with the markings. I ave to admit I can not see them but I am sure they are there. I will try working at a larger blow up. I try to keep my photos at FF so printing is better at a larger size. When seen on a print I am sure these mistakes will show up. Again thanks
