Excursion buses race down the beach, taking care to watch the tide and waves.
Afterwards, they go to a car wash and hose-off the salt that collected underneath.

I lived in NZ for 9 years. They bring back so many happy memories. I have driven 90 Mile Beach several times. No one else for miles ahead or behind... 360s from flat out!

I was just a wandering tourist for two months in New Zealand, hitch-hiking and taking buses, so I didn't have a chance to drive on the beach. But even from a day-excursion bus, it was pretty cool, and the drivers seemed to enjoy hot-rodding a bit, also.
