Chipped horns, and intense stares were traded.
After a short time the rams scattered back to their high rocky homes.
Comments and suggestions are most welcome (exif should be intact).
Hey Mike, Well done, I really like all three, but 1 is a little more pleasing for me than 2, due to pose only and Number 3 is most unique so gets the top vote

Thank you Larry. It really helps to hear how others see our photos.

Very nice set Mike. My fav is #1 and 2.

Thank you Dan. There was tension between these two rams, which I hope came through.

Nice shots Mike. I'll go with #2 as my top pick. The Nello effect in #3 overwhelms the stare on the other guy.

Thanks Steve. I've been googling the "Nello effect", but may not understand the reference; something about overlapping edges?
Thanks again for taking the time to look and give me something to think about.

RM, I pick #3, the stare, as my favorite! I love bighorn sheep! Great looking rams!

Thank you Ray.
Hope the intensity of these fellows comes through.
They are bruised, chipped, and tired at the end of this rut.
