Barry: Wonderful series. I really like #2, but I keep going back to #3. The 3 stages in that one really work for me, and I like the peek-a-boo effect in the fg formation.
Thank you all so much for your very kind remarks. They all mean a great deal to me! Alan and Tim.....that'll learn ya to take off so soon!
I'm with you, Ute!! Dave, thanks....I agree about the 1st. I wish I'd kept the framing the same for a series there. Aaron....you made my day!!! Binh, thanks! Check your PM. Javier, always great to hear from you my friend! Thanks!!
Thanks, Bart. Sorry you had to miss out this year, pal!
The second is great and the third-not bad at all. Any idea about conditions there in march because I might be in that area, I'll probably need more luck

Keith, can I go with you? Thanks!
Thanks, Jim. Ingemar, Thanks. I've only been to the PNW, fortunately twice, in August. The others from the area can chime in with weather reports.
Thanks Karl. Always good to hear from you. Carlo!! Nice to see you, too! Thanks! Good eye, pal. It did need 0.68 deg cw rotation.
Hi, Barry. All of these are wonderful images. Absolutely love the texture and color in the water on that second shot, and enjoyed the peek through the hole on the last.
Hi Barry,
Terrific shots. I like the first for its muted tones, the second and third for the great light. If I had to choose, it would be#2 - or maybe#1, or....

When is the best time of year to visit Ruby Beach for taking pictures ??

Pretty much any time of year you can get there. I've only been there twice, so the locals may chime in with some more valuable tips. Weather is always a dice roll on the coast.
