Does the D90 have the ability to use the in camera flash as fill flash, allowing you to vary its intensity ? I have read the manual and cannot figure it out!! thanks joanlvh

Yes. It is TTL but when used in CLS you can use the pop up as fill. Its the first thing on the Commander Mode menu. If you want it off choose "--" if you want it to be on TTL select TTL and then choose if you want to overpower or underpower it in the box next to it. Or you can do it manually by selecting M
