This is my yearly post on why I use wildlife calls.
Here is a good example of why I use wildlife calls to get a few extra keepers.
As you can see he knows I am in the area but really doesn't care. After a couple of shots He turned and looked out over the lake so I all I had to shoot was the back of his head.

A great series, Wacky Roger. I have seen trenchmonkey use his goose call at BdA. Al
The MonkeyGuy and his goose call is another example of wildlife calls getting you some extra shots. Another thing to remember is having the MonkeyGuy with you works pretty good as a wildlife magnet.
TrenchMonkey and I used the crow call to stop and turn a skunk one evening at Bosque.
Ha, Roger, he sure is giving you that annoyed look, lol...great gets.
sometimes they look like they are thinking, "geez don't tell me hes back!" , or "there's that idiot human again trying to sound like a crow",
or if they are exausted from hunting, maybe " oh no, don't tell me I have to flap one more time today!" lol

Good work, Roger. I was with a birder the other day that had found a rare (to this area) "Rusty Blackbird". I had been there with other birders earlier and no luck. This guy got it with his IPod!
Can you imagine what these Eagles are thinking when they here those %*^%$# crows calling Just look at that look of disgust, oh no, the crows are coming already!
Roger, someday I will try the crow call and see who laughs hardest, it really works for you but I don't have you around when I need you!
