I love Frank Loyd Wright's architecture.
Was here for a few day's working, so had to shoot at night.

Here's a Pano of the lobby, 3 wide by 5 deep HDR.
C&C Welcome.

Dear Kirk,

Well done. That's one of the few HDR's I've seen that really does the process justice. Technologically and compositionally superb!

Do you have a preferred HDR software?

Thanks Jim,
I have tried most of them but always come back to Photomatix, better preview screen.

This is only my 4th pano as I just got PTGui a few weeks ago, have not read a thing on it yet, just load and go, still need to figure out what all the menu's do

Need a pano head to, as I have some slight carpet to tile deviation just above the chair on the left. Was just using my little magic ball head, on a old silk tripod.

By the way, been admiring your images in the aviation post, Amazing job you have there.
I got my new 200-400 last August and was really looking forward to the airshow at Mcchord this year, but it was cancelled.
Take care.

Thanks Kirk,

I've got Photomatix but haven't done much with it yet. You're a master at it already!

It's a great picture and a good use of HDR without it being overwhelming.

About the Biltmore itself - I never got why it's so talked about. The architecture always feels bland to me and that Indian motif they use on all their tiles is meh. As far as architecture and beauty goes, I have much better things to say about the Royal Palms.

However, that's OT... as far as your picture goes, good job!

Thanks, It's just his style I guess, I think it's a personality thing.

Thanks for the comment.
I have MANY more from that night, I just need to find the time to process.

Excellent job! Not an easy fete with all that lighting, angles, etc.
I, too, love Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture. For all the reasons alphakappa doesn't. Aren't we glad we're not all identical in taste? Makes for a more interesting world!
