Up for sale is my Leica 75mm APO summicron. It is 6-bit coded and was purchased less than 2 months ago from Popflash. It was one of their never-mounted like new copies and comes with a 2-year Popflash warranty, which I can help with, either dealing directly with them or asking them to transfer the warranty (I do not know if it is possible though). Everything is working like new and smooth and the serial is starting with 4045, if that will help to identify the age of the lens. Please see the pictures for the actual item.
Now the reason for the sale, I decided that I need to divert the funds towards an amp purchase. I have already 2 other lenses in my bag, one is a 50mm one and I would make use of the money in a better way for the times when I am at home. It is sad to let it go in such a short period of time, however I am sure I will get it when I have enough funds again. The price is $2300 OBO including insured shipping in CONUS. In case you want to pay via Paypal, the fees will be extra, however FYI, there is a secret way to avoid the fees. If you use your paypal balance or bank account and make a personal transfer by choosing that tab, then there are no fees, in CONUS at least.

I am new to FM, but if you are going to feel better, I can arrange an ebay auction with BIN for the original asking price (fees are bad with ebay) for the sale in CONUS and to Paypal verified adress only. The advantage will be that you can use bing cashback, which will save you around $200. I rather deal here though and consider offers. I hate ebay+paypal policies.

Thank you. Yeah, it is a great lens, however I need to divert the funds towards an amp purchase. After I listened to HD800s, I am hooked to their sound. I am looking for an amp to drive them nicely, which will be close to $2K price probably. Maybe a Zana Deux. But this is another topic of course

I see that the original price in the ad was $2300, & then I see a 'price reduced' post – but no reduced price. Am I missing something? Or is $2300 the reduced price?

Yeah, I changed the price, sorry for the confusion, I started the thread with $2400. I was looking for a quick sale, so I reduced it in one day or so. The "edited" comment in the first post is about that change. I should have been more clear on that...
