Considering trading my 1Ds3 for a 1D3. I have been using this cam for my theater shoots along with occasional studio stuff. It is a stunning cam in my opinion for those applications, my issue is I also enjoy shooting wildlife and the 1Ds is slow (clicks per second and buffer fills to quick for BIF stuff). At the moment I can't afford two cams so considering going with the 1D3. Strongly hoping I will not be disappointed.
My 1Ds3 comes with all the original stuff, no dents, scratches, ect. Cam looks and works wonderfully.
If you have a 1D3 and your considering moving up to FF lets make a deal
thanks
Al
Pricing: it seems used 1D3's are around 2100/2300. The 1Ds3's are a little harder to pin down...maybe 3900 to 4200. Would like 2K but don't know if that is resonable in this market. Let me know....
Hi Al,
I have a mint 1D3, less than 10K shots, that I was thinking of trading for a 1Ds2. I thought that would be a fair trade. I shoot very few events that call for the high speed of this camera. Though I had no problems with the focus, I just sent it in to Canon for the mirror fix. I have a RRS L bracket on the camera. It is in mint condition with the exception of a small scratch on the LCD that I believe I got when it was in for service. What would I have to add on my end for an even trade. Thanks, Tony
I think he has a 1Ds3 looking to trade down to a 1D3.

I think I understood he correctly. Originally I was looking to trade from the 1D3 to a 1Ds2, but if i can meet his needs the 1Ds3 would be better. Tony
