Beautiful images, the sky is really nice in both, and the setting is fantastic. I'm always surprised by how different the antlers are in European deer and elk compared to those in N. America.
Great shots.
#1 - I really like the white cliffs, pink clouds, and misty surf in the first shot.
#2 - Fantastic shot. You captured some excellent light and I really like your compostion/crop. It works really well.
#3 - Its nice to see fellow photographers in the field (no pun intended) but tell Simon to quite spoiling your landscape shots! Just kidding, it sounds like Simon's a great guy and it is good to hear you had a great time.
I love this set. The clouds in the first are perfect, like a second set of cliffs. I really like the second. We have a mill like that here, but I think its location is unfortunate. I love the grasses in this shot. Simon looks like he is having a great time in the third and the fourth is super - I love it.

Thanks to all for the kind remarks on my post. This is indeed a wonderful community in which we partake. I have been able on numerous occasions with my travel, to join up with fellow fm'ers. It has always been such a positive experience.
Very pleased to be part of this forum, and to have the opportunity to meet some of you.
A great set of images , and a heart-warming tale of your shared experiences , Ed . I particularly admire the touches of pink cloud n the first image , and the power and dynamism captured in the fourth . Excellent displays .
