Some great action shots there Dave... I particularly dig #1 and #5 for the isolation though (I'm a sucker for them because I know they tend to sell)... but great job with the action in #4 and #7 too, and I like the composition in the last shot. Nasty gash that guy took.
I do like the isolation shots as well. Picture number 1 is of Matt Nieto. USA Hockey Magazine (November issue) used a shot of mine which is similar to picture 1 in an article they did about him.
I think the cut came from an overhand right. It could have happened when they went to the ice but the cut was too high up on the scalp for the ice to have caused it (I think). The USA player is enjoying the pictures of the fight. I think I heard he got around 4 stitches.
