About a week ago my 7D froze up nothing would work until I did the battery thing. I thought once is OK then it happened today this time I noticed the top LCD would not turn off when I moved the on off switch to off. So I pulled the battery again and all is fine so I called Canon and they said it sounds like a circuitry issue and will fail later on down the road. But lucky for me I bought it at a place with a 30 day return policy so Monday it's going back for an exchange.
I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue? I would think not but curious minds want to know

Hopefully they will return it to Canon rather than just putting it back in inventory for some other customer to "get lucky".
I believe it will go back to Canon why not? J&R are up and up dealer. If a camera is still within the return policy I am not taking my chances and time sending it to Canon which can happen many times over
