I have a chance to buy this lighting equipment by Impact and wondered what you all might know about the quality. The kit includes:
"2 Digi Ready VS300 power lights with power cords and sync cables.
Also included is an umbrella, soft box, T-616slave, impact light stand, impact 3218 light stand and gig bag to hold it all. "
He said that the kit used to have an additional stand and umbrella but they have gone missing. He said the lights haven't been used much and is selling all of this for $150.
The price is less than 50% from new Impact at B&H
They are identic with Interfit's Venus, fyi. For a start, as you intend, I'd buy them. Buying a missing stand and umbrella is no big deal.
