Superb series! These are probably the best Harrier shots I've ever seen.
You've done an excellent job and you should be proud of yourself.

Fantabulous shots Ken, most excellent poses and captures! Standouts are 2, 3 and 4, but I would be happy with any of them.
Doug
Hi Doug, I went for the Sandhills but I think these were actually the highlight of the trip Well, that and drinking a micro-brew or two with the Monkey

WOW!! I remember looking at these before and thought I had commented already. They really are beautiful and so sharp. I love them all and I love the way she seems to be really hamming it up for you.
Well done!
Hi Noelle,
Next time don't wait too long to comment Yes, Trenchmonkey says she's a little slut posing for anyone with a camera but I think she's just an extrovert
Glad you enjoyed them and thanks for your very kind comments!

These are rally great shots, Ken and you did a great job capturing and processing them . I particularly like 3, 4 and 8. Well done!
Socrate
Thank you, Socrate. When I started going through these for processing I wanted them to have the same look and feel and to that end I think I succeeded. You'll notice I didn't have a single blue sky background in any of these and that's a rare treat for a raptor series

Zoomer, you should have let me know about these. Almost missed them which would have been a real pitty because these shots are exceptionally good.
Never mind a bird on a stick or a baited hawk owl and such. This is the avian photography at its best. Fine action and bird attitude caught, with much habitat framed in, without compromising any of your customary IQ.
Hi Peter,
Sorry I forgot to CC you on the announcement. Rest assured that has been corrected so it won't happen again Yep, I live for days like these and the only thing I can think of that would be better would be a flock-o-pijuns against bosque backgrounds

You just put on a clinic for following birds in flight.
Great results, #5 creates great tension as we wait for the next move.
Thank you, Mike. The biggest challenge in these was keeping the lens on target and making sure I aquired focus lock as she flew against focus grabbing backgrounds and objects in the foreground. They have rather erratic flight pattern that makes the very challenging to follow under the best of conditions and I was quite please she gave me several opportunities to get it right.
