Not the best of images: The leading edge of the queen isn't as sharp as I'd like it to be, and the male (at the bottom of the frame) was in constant motion. Last, but not least, don't get me started on the background. But I thought it was an interesting scene anyway. The first time I've seen a queen hang from a twig while mating.

Very cool shot. This is what makes macro such fun...seeing things you don't normally see. I think the images are just fine as they are. Very realistic.
