Met Yvette earlier today. Was able to talk her into doing a session with me. She's never modeled before but she was surprisingly at ease in front of the camera. And she had several nice angles. It was a pretty good shoot.
"Is it just me or do I see a small "dot" under her nose in pictures #4 till 6 ?"
Yeah she has a mole.
"i would recommend shooting longer glass, at 1 and 3 the distortion feels too much to me."
I didn't really have much of a choice on the glass. The venue was in a Salon, cramped space especially with the lights. Had to pull out the 24-70mm just to get any sort of framing.
Thank you for taking the time to look and reply, it's greatly appreciated.
You met someone for the first time and able to get them to do a sesh with you. That, my fellow FMer, is a feat of its own. I tip my hat to you, sir. Besides, the wonderful shots, of course.
It was just right place right time. I was already planning a shoot at the Salon. And she was there when I got there. So I just plain asked, sometimes that's all it takes.
