p.1 #1 · 5D vs 1D Mark II sharpness??

Hello,

I want to ask u about sharness from 5D and 1D Mark II?
I have 1D Mark II and 24-70L. Is image from 5D and 24-70L maybe sharper than in 1D Mark II?
Any idea?

I had both cameras for a while and used them with that lens. Both have very similar per pixel sharpness but the 5D has more pixels and therefore shows more detail. The 5D has cleaner high iso image quality and retains more detail when using iso 800 and above.

There is not a huge difference but its noticable.

:d it means 5d not sharper than 1D II. I am happy with my gear then

I can't comment on the 5D but I know that images from the 1DMkII need sharpening in PP. Recommended USM settings are 300 / 0.3 / 0

5D is sharper than 1d II. I shoot them both. It is easy to see. the slow and limited buffer in the 5D cause me to miss shots, that really irks me bad.

They both produce excellent images. The 1DII needs more sharpening.
