Here are a few images from the stunning sunset of October 10. They were taken at the West Pond of Jamaica Bay Wildlife Sanctuary here in New York City. All were taken looking north. I took others looking west of a dramatic orange and red sky though they were all bird flight photos and posted on the Nature and Wildlife forum. These pastels are a nice change of pace for a sunset.

Comments and suggestions welcome,

Morris

Ps. These photos were posted on the Nature and Wildlife forum a week or 2 ago. Is it a problem posting the same on both?

I like the subtle colors you've captured. My favorite is #2 because of the blurred birds. To me, they give a relaxed feeling to the scene.

Cheers,

Phil

Nice set Morris. I like the layers in these and the pastel skies. Not sure about #2 though It's just not reaching out to me.
