It is more difficult to get good impressionistic shots in the snow. The white often becomes overpowering in the end results. Very similar to what I mentioned about avoiding skys in a previous post. Hope some will enjoy these.

My only problem it with the snow itself.......... I see this and I'm starting to get cold.... and thinking I will have to shovel this stuff all winter long !
Hey Ed, all these shots are landscapes....so they do fit in well here. I like the creative variety of landscapes on this forum. Glad you like some of these.
Thanks Jayem1. That is the good thing about this type of photography...even if I stand in the same spot and use the same setting each photo will come out different.
Guy....yes #4 is my favourite too. There was just something about that forground tree that caught my eye. And ya The snow is here to stay now......for a very long time. Glad to hear you like these.
