It is more difficult to get good impressionistic shots in the snow. The white often becomes overpowering in the end results. Very similar to what I mentioned about avoiding skys in a previous post. Hope some will enjoy these.

Critiques, Comments and thoughts always welcome on my photos.

The first three convey the impression oft softness, #4 is unique.

I can tell you each one is unique and not reproducible.

The 1st three are abstract and interesting to look at. Winter is not here yet, so have to wait to do this. Have fun...

#4 has more impact for me.

My only problem it with the snow itself.......... I see this and I'm starting to get cold.... and thinking I will have to shovel this stuff all winter long !

Hi Karl, thanks for stopping by.

Hey Ed, all these shots are landscapes....so they do fit in well here. I like the creative variety of landscapes on this forum. Glad you like some of these.

Thanks Jayem1. That is the good thing about this type of photography...even if I stand in the same spot and use the same setting each photo will come out different.

Guy....yes #4 is my favourite too. There was just something about that forground tree that caught my eye. And ya

The snow is here to stay now......for a very long time. Glad to hear you like these.

I think if you crop off bottom one third on #4, it may look stronger. Maybe just me.
