p.1 #1 · Psyllid and Psocid comparisons

Some shots of 2 bark flies (Psocids) and a couple of shots of a jumping plant louse (Psyllid). Often confused but they do have some fairly different characteristics. Both tend to be in the 2 to 3mm body length range.

Textbook shots Brian -I really like the way the light reflected off of the wings in the first shot

These are wonderful. The muted colour palette really showcases the iridescence on the wings. I think the 4th is my favourite, but #2 really makes me smile

Thanks Steve - these small bugs are not too bad when they are walking around on a solid surface
