Me and my girlfriend went for a nice long walk with her parents' dog. Of course I brought my camera along and tried some new things on my two poor victems!
This style is completely new to me and I have never done anything with backlighting like this before. But I do like the outcome very much and I'm pleased with the final result. Hope you guys can comment on this and give me some points to work on (technically as well as PP).
My girlfriend was not prepared to be my model for the day so forgive her very casual clothing!
You should post #3 in the Nature and Wildlife forum, and title it "Ewok in his natural surroundings" ...
I like the look you are creating here. You've provided just enough flare so as to create the mood without going overboard. Also, your depth-of-field gives us a sense of location, without being distracting to your subjects.
My only suggestion: closeups of your girlfriend looking at the camera.
