Purchased this lens, new, boxed, at a flea market this morning. Could it be adapted to those mini 4/3 digitals? If yes-i can run it on B/S. Its F1.3 to F16, and focuses to .6 foot on its barrell. Comments welcomed.
It's most likely C mount, and thus could be used with a C mount adapter as it doesn't appear to be large enough diameter to foul the mount (As C mount has a shorter register than m43, the adapters are inset and many C mount lenses can't be used for that reason).
However it's not really worth the effort as it won't come close to covering the full sensor. TV lenses are designed for fairly small sensors and one as short as an 8mm simply won't cover 4/3rds, which is larger than the largest format C mount is used on.
As a rule, C mount lenses under 25mm don't cover m43, although some as short as 12.5mm have only minor vignetting issues.

WOW! I never knew such thing exist at all.
Happy shooting,
Yakim.
It's a video/movie mount. 16mm register and intended for 8mm and 16mm movie cameras. It's usable on m43 only because the diameter of many C mount lenses is very small so the entire barrel will clear the inset mount of the adapter.

A full compatibility list can be found here
Hope this helps.
Academically and by reading the specs, C mount lenses are not a good fit for m43, but then, there are many who forgo the math and try them out anyway: c mount pics on m43
