After a very long days drive from Evans we made it to West Glacier, just in time to spend an hour or so grabbing a few shots. Not many stops on the way, first 2 shots here are from Kootenay Falls on the way, followed by a shot on the shores of Lake McDonald in the park, and 3 river shots as the sun set.
cheers Andrew
Very nice series really like your comps here. The water color in #2 is just gorgeous. Really like how you captured the river winding in #1 works as a very nice leading line. Did you use any filter in #3?? Thinking the Singh-Ray or a ND filter would have possibly helped the background keep some detail in it. Very nice series and work here Andrew
That first shot is the best one in my books. Pretty harsh light given the time of day for your visit but as Ray already pointed the path of the river in this scene carries the shot as a comp. The color of the water in the second is pretty nice as well.
Nice work.
