Got out for a day of hiking at Silver Falls State Park here in Oregon. For those that don't know there are 11 waterfalls of different heights along a nine mile pathway. The north and south falls at each end can be walked behind giving a different perspective. The first shot is of the north falls. For scale notice the bench behind the falls. #2 is of the lower north falls. Hope you enjoy,

Very nice colors to go along with the falls Darryl - and a nice choice of shutter speeds for the water flows as well. Both of these are very nice images.

Nice work! I can't pick a favorite, I like both of them. I've photographed Silver Falls in the Summer, however, I would love to visit this time of year.

Beautiful set Darryl. #1 is my favorite. I like the composition, and the rocks at the bottom of the falls. #2 is nice also.

I agree, very nice shots both! I love that the sky above the falls in #2 is so evenly lit with no blowout whatsoever in water or sky, great exposures, I would be really happy with these!

Nice shots. Curious though, what's going on at the top of Lower South (not North) Falls in #2? Some weird stringy looking patterns in the water there.

Nice captures. Been by that way a couple of times on trips north or south, but never made the time to stop. Seeing these reinforces the thought to make the time.

Beautiful scenes, Darryl. I particularly like the view in the 1st. In the 2nd, I might be tempted to crop from the left to perhaps 4:5?

With the long exposures how did you keep the leaves looking sharp? I do not see much motion blur.

It was really still that morning which allowed for the long exposures
