p.1 #1 · FT: Gauging interest: ef400 2.8 for 300 2.8 IS

I'm gauging interest to see if this might be a possibility. I will be receiving an EF400 2.8 Mark 1 on Monday but I am curious if anyone might be interested in a trade with your 300 2.8 IS. The 400 works fine, has minor paint chips on it, will include a case which is actually for a 400 2.8 IS, and the hood is for a 600mm, but it fits fine. Also, it will include a Wimberley plate.

Reason? I wanted a lens for some races but the weight thing is starting to make me wonder if it'll be too much to walk around with all weekend.

Yes it is, it's on its way to midstate camera right now to be cleaned, lubed and calibrated.
